About the role

You will work directly on an ongoing contractor basis as a Videographer & Content Creator to help build a personal brand across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and other social platforms. The role will primarily involve following and documenting day-to-day life running multiple businesses and turning what happens throughout the week into entertaining, engaging and high-quality social content.

Key responsibilities

- Film approximately 3 days per week (initially Monday, Wednesday, Friday), with flexibility for additional opportunities

- Capture content across constantly changing locations including business meetings, office visits, promotional shoots, events, and day-to-day activities

- Produce approximately 10 short-form videos per week designed for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Facebook with solid hooks, pacing, storytelling and retention

- Produce 1 longer-form YouTube video per fortnight that documents the journey and tells a story around what has happened

- Edit and complete post-production work remotely from home using your preferred setup

- Bring creative ideas to the process and contribute to content strategy





- Identify stories and moments that will make good content from everything happening during the week

- Keep up with current social media trends and new content formats

- Understand and apply hooks, retention, storytelling and pacing to all content

About you

- Highly experienced in both videography and editing

- Capable of producing extremely high-quality video content

- Experienced video editor with portfolio demonstrating personal filming and editing work

- Understanding of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube platforms

- Understanding of what makes people stop scrolling and engage with content

- Comfortable filming documentary and day-in-the-life style content

- Able to produce entertaining short-form content and edit longer-form YouTube videos

- Proactive with creative ideas rather than waiting for constant direction

- Comfortable working across constantly changing locations

- Reliable, flexible, and easy to get along with

- Portfolio demonstrating short-form content, longer-form content, personal brand content, documentary/day-in-the-life content and social-first storytelling
