We are seeking a proactive and solutions-focused Operations & POS Coordinator to support the successful delivery of events across Brisbane Showgrounds and RICC.

This hands-on role combines POS and ICT systems support, event operations, floor coordination and administration. You will help ensure our systems, people and venues are ready to deliver seamless events and RNA’s 5-star service standards.

This is a Permanent Part-time opportunity (22.8 hours), working over a 7-day roster.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate, program and support POS systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance and staff training.
- Manage venue digital signage programming and functionality during events.
- Provide ICT systems support and training across POS, digital signage and related technology.
- Coordinate floor operations, staffing, event set-up, logistics and technical requirements.
- Liaise with clients, vendors and internal teams to support smooth event delivery.
- Support exhibitions, entertainment, concessional catering, RICC, Brisbane Showgrounds and EKKA events.
- Monitor service standards and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare event reports, P&L; reports and operational data analysis.
- Monitor labour, food, beverage and other operational costs against approved budgets.
- Undertake other operational and administrative duties as required.

About You

- Experience in event operations, venue management, hospitality, POS, ICT support or a similar environment.
- Confident working with technology and troubleshooting systems.
- Strong organisational,



communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with reporting and financial information.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high service standards.
- Proactive, reliable and comfortable taking ownership.
- Adaptable to work evenings, weekends and public holidays during major events as required.
