About the role The Process & Systems Consultant is responsible for helping customers improve operational performance through business process optimisation, Lean methodologies, Six Sigma principles and the implementation of business systems. The role partners with customers to analyse existing operations, identify inefficiencies, define future-state processes and scope technology solutions that measurably improve productivity, quality and profitability.

Acting as a trusted advisor, the consultant works directly with operational and executive stakeholders to facilitate discovery workshops, document business requirements, develop implementation roadmaps and support successful project delivery. The role balances practical operational insight with structured consulting discipline, ensuring that recommendations are achievable, commercially sound and aligned with each customer's strategic objectives.

The role spans the full consulting lifecycle, commencing with pre-sales discovery and opportunity qualification and continuing through current-state analysis, future-state process design, solution scoping, system configuration, testing, user adoption and post-implementation benefit realisation. Every engagement is expected to conclude with measurable business outcomes that can be evidenced against an agreed baseline.

- Gather, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements, distinguishing genuine operational need from stated preference
- Produce solution scope documents, functional specifications, Statements of Work and implementation recommendations that are clear, complete and commercially defensible
- Configure and implement business systems in accordance with approved solution designs and the agreed future-state processes
- Serve as the primary business consultant throughout customer engagements, owning the relationship for all process analysis and scoping activity
- Present findings, process recommendations and supporting business cases to operational and executive stakeholders in a transparent, structured and persuasive manner
- Develop and maintain consulting methodologies, templates, tools and best practices that improve the consistency, quality and efficiency of engagements
