This is a practical, physical role within a manufacturing environment, working as part of a small team to produce quality plastic products.
Key responsibilities
- Operating and assisting with manufacturing equipment
- Measuring and handling raw materials such as polyethylene
- Loading and unloading moulds and production equipment
- Monitoring the manufacturing process
- Removing finished products from moulds
- Trimming, drilling, cleaning and finishing products
- Carrying out quality checks and measurements
- Maintaining a clean and protected work area
- Following production procedures and workplace safety requirements
- 4-day working week
- 3-day weekend every week
- 4am start
About you
- Reliable
- Physically fit
- Willing to learn
- Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Must have a forklift licence
- Previous manufacturing or plastics experience is an advantage, but training will be provided for the right person
