Procurement Assistant

Location: Bayswater North, VIC Employment Type: Full Time Day & Night Healthcare is a growing national company, delivering to residential aged care, medical facilities and the community across the country and provides a comprehensive range of wound care, continence, nutritional and personal care products.

We're looking for an organised and proactive Procurement Assistant to join our Procurement team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, likes staying on top of details, and wants to build a career in procurement and supply chain.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping our purchasing running smoothly — from raising orders to chasing up suppliers and keeping customers informed on backorders.

We are open to concluding University applicants who may wish to kick-start their career before graduating (i.e. beginning with a part time schedule before moving into Full-Time position at conclusion of studies).

What You'll Be Doing





- Raising routine Purchase Orders with approved suppliers
- Following up on supplier ETAs, shortages and outstanding orders
- Managing the day-to-day customer backorder process
- Maintaining accurate purchasing and supplier records
- Handling purchasing admin, including the purchasing inbox and credit card purchases
- Assisting with stock adjustments and recent product/item setup
- Providing purchasing coverage and support to the wider team
