About the role

As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our products are made in a safe environment, meet the highest standards of quality and contribute to the efficiency of our manufacturing process. This role is part time (fixed term) on a rotating shift - Day/Afternoon/Night.

Key responsibilities

- Following safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working setting
- Producing products according to specifications and Quality standards
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet Quality standards
- Setting up, operating, monitoring and adjusting production machinery and equipment
- Basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance
- Use of SAP and other online computer systems
- Active use of lean manufacturing tools including 5Y, Kaizen and One Point Lessons to reduce losses across the plant
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Reporting any issues to the Shift Leader or Manager

About you

- Experience and knowledge in machine operations




- Experience and knowledge in lean manufacturing
- Experience and knowledge in safety and quality standards
- Ability to communicate with team members on site
- Ability to use IT systems to support production process
- Ability to collaborate well in a diverse work environment
- Forklift Licence advantageous
