About The Opportunity

Manage the ongoing delivery of Signalling project activities within the Annual Maintenance Plan to ensure the operational integrity and efficiency of the works program within the corridor.

- Deliver signalling maintenance and capital projects safely, on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
- Assist with project scoping, estimating, costing, planning and resource allocation.
- Interpret signalling designs and coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and associated civil works.
- Review contractor documentation and monitor compliance with safety, environmental, technical and project requirements.
- Coordinate contractors, project teams and stakeholders to resolve technical, safety, contractual and delivery issues.
- Monitor project performance, risks, costs, schedules and quality, providing regular progress reporting.
- Supervise project resources and contractors, ensuring strong safety performance and compliance with mandatory systems and procedures.
- Coordinate works within the corridor to minimise conflicts with other maintenance and capital activities.
- Promote a safe,



inclusive and professional workplace in accordance with organisational policies and legislative requirements.

What do we want from you?

Essential

- Qualified Signal Electrician with ARTC Statement of Competency (SOC) or ability to obtain the same.
- Proven experience in railway signalling engineering maintenance, construction or project delivery.
- Solid supervision experience within multi-disciplinary environments.
- Highly organised, with strong planning and delivery capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of railway systems, signalling standards and relevant Australian Standards, including the
- Railway National Code of Practice.
- Full Australian Driver’s License Class C

Desirable

- Experience delivering major periodic maintenance and capital works projects.
- Protection Officer Level 1 minimum.

About The Team Our Operations team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains. With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items such as groceries,



electrical goods and other items for both import and export markets. The Operations teams work within several complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery outcomes for its customers, stakeholders and the community.
