Hi, I'm Patrick, Director of Ignite Psychology. Ignite was built around a straightforward belief: great psychology comes from doing meaningful work with depth and competence.

We're building a clinic focused exclusively on children, adolescents and their families, and a workplace designed to help the clinicians doing that work thrive by building supports outside and inside therapy.

The Ignite Way:

A Thriving Team is a Competent Team: A two day position thats organised around the clinician.

A Different Approach to the Working Week. We’ve intentionally moved away from the traditional 9–5 model. Our clinical days are structured into morning and afternoon blocks, with psychologists working two days per week. It creates a rhythm that is predictable, sustainable and leaves genuine space for life outside the clinic.

Client Cancellations ? Don't bench warm, where appropriate, work from home. You're not expected to sit in the clinic simply to look busy.

We value your time and trust our clinicians to manage their work professionally.

Remuneration : $42–$50 per hour + superannuation, supervision and performance-based bonuses. Clear salary brackets. Transparent expectations. Guaranteed annual reviews, with additional incentives available.

We don't believe in tracking clinicians through endless KPIs.

Instead, we focus on doing good work, and recognising the people who consistently contribute to our team and genuinely live out our values.

We believe you should know where you stand, what is expected of you and what growth can look like.

Role Overview

Niche Caseload. As mentioned, Ignite is a place for depth rather than breadth. We see children up to the age of 18 and their parents. Like working with childhood anxiety ? Parenting Attachment ? School Based Programs ?

We want to work with you to gradually build a caseload that aligns as closely as possible with your interests, strengths and optimal professional flow.

The goal isn't simply to fill your diary.





It's to help you develop depth in the areas of psychology you genuinely enjoy.

A dedicated, highly skilled admin team - We don't want our clients to only feel heard when they're in therapy. The Ignite Way is about ensuring that every client feels welcomed, supported and genuinely cared for at every point of their journey with us - in and outside of the therapy room.

Our highly skilled administrative team takes care of your bookings, billing and scheduling, SO you can focus your time and energy on what matters most - therapy.

Personal Development - Ongoing development isn't a maybe; it's a must. We provide integrated supervision within your working hours, along with a professional development allowance to support your continued growth as a clinician.

Your Time is Precious - Integrated admin time, AI note-taking and other strategies utilised as a team and intergrated into our processes for you to focus on what really moves therapy forward.

Who we are looking for

- Has current AHPRA general or others registrations (Clinical, Educational and Developmental, Forensic)
- Must have experience working with children, adolescents and/or families
- Understands child development, attachment, emotional regulation, behaviour and family systems
- Can complete assessment, formulation, conceptualisation and treatment planning
- Builds rapport with young people and communicates clearly with parents, carers and professionals
- Can manage a caseload independently while contributing to a team
- Values supervision, feedback and ongoing development
- Demonstrates self-awareness, accountability, curiosity and integrity
- Is genuinely committed to helping children, adolescents and families achieve meaningful change
