About Us

Our Space Psychology – Tamborine Mountain provides psychological and allied health services including individual therapy, cognitive assessments, behavioural assessments, and functional and NDIS-related evaluations. Our practice is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for clients of diverse backgrounds and needs. Two trained therapy dogs are part of our team and contribute to a calming, client-centered atmosphere.

Located on Tamborine Mountain, QLD, we focus on evidence-based care that supports meaningful change in clients' daily lives.

About the Role

We're seeking a part-time, on-site Psychologist or Occupational Therapist to join our team — we welcome applications from either profession and will tailor the role to your scope of practice. You'll provide individual therapy or intervention, conduct assessments relevant to your discipline (cognitive, behavioural, functional capacity, and/or NDIS-related), and support clients in setting and achieving meaningful goals.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Developing individualised treatment or intervention plans
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborating with other health and community professionals
- Participating in case discussions and supervision




- Contributing to a warm, inclusive clinic environment
- Engaging appropriately with our resident therapy dogs

What We're Looking For

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Occupational Therapy, with current registration (or eligibility for registration) with AHPRA
- Demonstrated expertise applying evidence-based interventions across a range of presentations
- Competence in relevant assessment types for your discipline (cognitive, behavioural, functional, and/or NDIS-related evaluations)
- Strong rapport-building and therapeutic communication skills
- Experience working with diverse clients, including those with disability, neurodivergence, or complex psychosocial needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong record-keeping and report-writing abilities
- Commitment to ethical, culturally safe, and inclusive practice
