We are seeking an experienced and motivated Publishing Officer to join our Law Publishing team.

As a Publishing Officer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality public advice and guidance products. You’ll undertake complex publishing and editorial work, apply publishing and accessibility standards, and contribute to the continuous improvement of publishing services and digital platforms.

You will also

- provide expert advice on publishing standards, guidelines and brand requirements
- manage publishing workflows and competing priorities to meet business deadlines
- liaise with stakeholders to resolve complex publishing and editorial matters
- identify risks and opportunities to improve publishing processes, systems and services




- coach and support APS 4 and APS 5 staff.

This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Canberra, Newcastle or Parramatta.
