We're looking for a QE Manager / Test Lead to own test strategy and quality governance on a major program. This is a hands-on leadership role, peer to the Engineering Manager and Program Architect, and acting ScrumMaster for the Testing team.

You'll embed TDD/BDD across delivery from story inception, gate quality at every stage (component testing into SIT, automated integration testing into UAT), and run UAT as a focused, coordinated human/stakeholder cycle. You'll own RTM governance with full requirements traceability, hold sprint quality gates, lead defect triage and escalation, and be the single point of contact for testing decisions and Go/No-Go input.

We're after someone with a solid engineering background (multi-language, hands-on enough to challenge designs and estimates), a sharp testing mindset that catches edge cases before they hit UAT, and experience with modern quality practices — contract testing, chaos engineering, observability-driven testing — alongside solid automation fundamentals.

This role exists to hold a real quality gate, not to rubber-stamp one. If you're comfortable holding the line against delivery pressure, we'd like to hear from you.
