Role Description The Registered Nurse role is a part-time, on-site position based in Auburn, NSW. This role involves delivering clinical nursing care to older adults, people living with disability, and community clients, including assessments, wound care, medication administration, and monitoring of health conditions. The nurse will develop and review care plans, liaise with general practitioners and allied health professionals, and support clients and their support networks with health education and guidance.

Day-to-day responsibilities include documenting clinical notes, responding to changes in client health, promoting safe care practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of care services. The role also involves mentoring care staff and collaborating with the wider care team to ensure high-quality, person-centered support.

Qualifications





- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the relevant Australian regulatory body and eligibility to practice in NSW.
- Demonstrated experience in aged care, disability services (including NDIS), community nursing, or DVA client care.
- Solid clinical skills in assessment, care planning, wound management, medication administration, and monitoring of chronic conditions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with clients, families, and care staff.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements for aged care, disability, and community care services.
- Competence in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and using electronic health records or care management systems.
- Commitment to person-centered care, cultural safety, and inclusive service delivery for people from diverse backgrounds.
- Current police check, working with children/NDIS worker screening (as required), and up-to-date immunizations in line with organizational policy.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professional boundaries and ethical practice.
- Relevant postgraduate training or continuing professional development in gerontology, community nursing, or disability care is an advantage.
