What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
About You
You present yourself as a registered nurse who meets the professional standards of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and brings well‑developed clinical knowledge and capability to both outpatient and acute hospital settings.
You apply strong clinical reasoning and problem‑solving skills to assess patient needs, respond to changing situations and maximise the quality and safety of care. Your communication is consistently clear and professional, using information technology, written documentation and interpersonal engagement to support effective clinical practice and collaboration.
You work confidently within a multidisciplinary environment, planning and coordinating patient care with a focus on outcomes, continuity and teamwork. You also demonstrate reliability and flexibility through your commitment to a seven‑day rotating roster that includes night duty, weekends and public holidays.
