About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, professional and clinically competent Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our healthcare team across hospital and aged care environments.

The successful candidates will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care while working collaboratively with patients/residents, families, carers, doctors, allied health professionals and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

We are looking for nurses who demonstrate sound clinical judgement, excellent communication skills, professional integrity and a genuine commitment to improving health outcomes and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide secure, evidence-based and person-centred nursing care.
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
- Monitor patients/residents and recognise changes in health status, escalating concerns appropriately.
- Administer medications safely in accordance with legislation, policies and clinical guidelines.
- Perform clinical procedures within scope of practice and organisational policy.
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with medical practitioners, allied health professionals, families and other care staff.
- Participate in clinical handovers, case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Support residents/patients with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence and choice.
- Contribute to falls prevention, pressure injury prevention, infection prevention and control, wound management and continence care.
- Respond appropriately to clinical deterioration and emergencies.
- Participate in care planning, reviews, audits, quality improvement and risk management activities.
- Maintain compliance with professional standards, organisational policies and relevant legislation.
- Provide education and support to patients, residents, families and carers.
- Advocate for the rights, safety, dignity and wellbeing of patients and residents.
- Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.

Hospital Nursing Responsibilities Depending on the clinical area, Registered Nurses may be required to:




- Provide acute nursing care to patients with complex and/or chronic health conditions.
- Monitor vital signs, neurological observations and other clinical parameters.
- Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration.
- Undertake wound care, IV therapy and other clinical interventions within scope of practice.
- Assist with admissions, transfers and discharge planning.
- Work effectively within a fast-paced multidisciplinary hospital environment.
- Participate in emergency response and escalation procedures.

Aged Care Nursing Responsibilities Registered Nurses working in aged care will additionally be responsible for:
- Providing holistic, person-centred care to older people.
- Developing and reviewing individualised care and nursing plans.
- Managing chronic health conditions and complex care needs.
- Medication management and clinical monitoring.
- Wound and skin integrity management.
- Falls risk assessment and prevention.
- Supporting continence, nutrition, hydration and mobility needs.
- Recognising and responding to deterioration in residents' health.
- Supporting residents living with dementia and other cognitive impairments.
- Working collaboratively with families, GPs, allied health professionals and care staff.
- Promoting healthy ageing, independence, dignity and quality of life.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A recognised nursing qualification.
- Current right to work in Australia.
- Demonstrated knowledge of professional nursing standards and relevant Australian healthcare legislation.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to person-centred, culturally safe and respectful care.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic health records.




- Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality and patient/resident safety.
- Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, where required.

Desirable Requirements The following will be highly regarded:

- Previous hospital, acute care, rehabilitation or aged care experience.
- Experience caring for patients/residents with complex health needs.
- Experience in medication management, wound care and chronic disease management.
- Dementia care experience.
- Mental health nursing experience.
- Experience with electronic medication administration and clinical documentation systems.
- Postgraduate qualifications or relevant clinical certifications.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Mandatory Checks & Compliance Successful applicants may be required to provide:
- Evidence of current AHPRA registration.
- Evidence of Australian working rights.
- National Police Check.
- Working with Vulnerable People registration/check where applicable.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check where applicable to the role.
- Relevant immunisation and vaccination evidence in accordance with organisational and facility requirements.
- Evidence of required clinical competencies and mandatory training.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
- Relevant immunisation/occupational health clearance where required.
