Remedium Healthcare Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to choose your own hours servicing oncology patients in their own homes.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering expert oncology nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes, with the ability to travel independently to and from each patients' home
- Administering chemotherapy and other medication under the direction of oncologists
- Monitoring patients' conditions and responding promptly to any changes or concerns
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and safety protocols
What we're looking for
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in an oncology or haematology setting
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of oncology nursing practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with patients,
families and the multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
