Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

Melbourne CBD OR Sydney CBD | Corporate Banking | Institutional & Large Corporate Clients Our client is a well-established international banking institution with a strong presence across global markets and continued growth in Australia. Due to ongoing expansion within their Corporate Banking division, our client is hiring multiple Relationship Managers for opportunities based in either Sydney CBD or Melbourne CBD office.

This is an excellent opportunity for commercially minded banking professionals who enjoy client relationship management, business development and delivering tailored corporate banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and manage relationships with large corporate and institutional clients across various industries
- Identify new business opportunities and drive client acquisition and portfolio growth
- Deliver tailored banking solutions across corporate lending, project finance, transaction banking and related products
- Conduct credit analysis, financial assessment, KYC and due diligence processes
- Prepare and present credit submissions and financing proposals
- Monitor client portfolios and proactively manage credit and operational risks
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient deal execution and high-quality client service




- Maintain strong awareness of market trends, industry developments and regulatory requirements
- Support and mentor junior team members where required

About You

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of client relationship management and marketing experience at a relevant bankinginvestment institution
- Credit experience in corporate banking required
- Mandarin speaking capability is required
- Solid experience in client acquisition and relationship management
- Strong financial analysis and credit writing capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, driven and commercially focused mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
- MBA, CFA or FRM qualifications will be highly regarded
