Our platform puts an expert contract review in a buyer’s hands early, when the contract is made available to buyers. Our legal practice has property lawyers that carry the matter from contract through to settlement.

The opportunity

We’re hiring an experienced NSW residential property lawyer (5+ years) to stand up our NSW practice, then lead it. This is a founding role, fully remote in NSW, working directly with our Legal Director and founders.

There is no NSW playbook yet. That’s the point. You’ll build the precedent library, the special conditions playbooks, the matter workflow and the quality standards, then run the first NSW files end-to-end and prove the model. As volume grows, you’ll hire and lead the NSW team.

This role suits a go-getter: someone who sees a gap and closes it, who’d rather build the standard than inherit one, and who wants leadership to be the plan, not a maybe.

What you’ll do

- Design and build the NSW practice: precedents, special conditions playbooks, workflows and quality standards.
- Run the first NSW matters end-to-end, from contract review through to settlement, and refine the model as you go.
- Partner with our Legal Director on NSW rules and precedents for our contract-review platform.
- Hire, coach and lead the NSW team as volume scales.

You’ll thrive here if you

- Have 5+ years’ PQE in NSW residential property: end-to-end file management, reviews, drafting, exchange and settlements.
- Have run high-volume caseloads and know what good looks like at speed.
- Want to lead, and have the patience to build the machine before you scale it.
- Communicate with clarity and empathy, translating legal risk into actionable advice, fast.

Must-haves

- Current (or ability to secure) unrestricted Australian practising certificate and unrestricted right to work in Australia.
- 5+ years’ NSW residential property experience with high-volume caseloads
- Strong references that speak to speed, accuracy and client care.
