Deliver Exceptional Events at One of Sydney's Most Iconic Venues

The Fresh Collective is renowned for delivering premium hospitality experiences across Australia's most prestigious cultural institutions. We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our Events team at the Australian Museum on a 12-month maternity leave contract.

Reporting to the Director of Events, you'll manage a portfolio of corporate, private and social events from initial enquiry through to successful delivery. You'll work closely with clients, venue partners and operational teams to create seamless event experiences while contributing to commercial success.

About the Role

- 12-month full-time maternity leave contract based at the Australian Museum and The Fresh Collective head office (Redfern)
- Manage events from enquiry and quoting through to planning, execution and post-event follow-up.
- Build strong relationships with corporate, private and repeat clients.
- Prepare detailed proposals, event orders and operational handovers with exceptional accuracy.
- Conduct client meetings and site inspections to understand event requirements.
- Work closely with chefs,



operations teams and venue partners to ensure flawless delivery.
- Manage budgets, maximise event profitability and identify upselling opportunities.
- Maintain accurate event records and task management within the Elite database.

About You

- Minimum 2 years' experience in event management within hospitality, catering or premium venues.
- Experience managing corporate, private and social events from end to end.
- Tertiary qualifications are preferred.
- Exceptional organisation and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercially minded with experience preparing quotes and managing event budgets.
- Confident managing multiple events and competing deadlines simultaneously.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
