About the role

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team at our Bexley NSW location. This is a part-time position offering flexible working arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store standards, and contributing to the smooth daily operations of our service station.

Your friendly demeanour and attention to detail will help us create a positive shopping experience for all our customers.

Key responsibilities

- Providing friendly and effective customer service at the point of sale and throughout the store
- Operating the till system accurately and processing cash and card transactions
- Restocking shelves and maintaining neat and organised product displays
- Keeping the retail area clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety standards
- Assisting customers with product inquiries and recommendations
- Handling customer complaints professionally and escalating issues when necessary
- Supporting the store team during peak trading periods




- Following company policies and procedures at all times
- Contributing to stock management and reporting discrepancies

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a retail, hospitality or customer service environment is desirable
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace and manage multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work part-time hours as required
- Basic numeracy skills and competence with point-of-sale systems
- A positive attitude, team-oriented approach and willingness to learn
- Current Australian working rights
