As a registered training organisation and leading provider of nationally recognised industrial safety training, we are seeking talented, positive, passionate and qualified trainer assessors who are student-centric and strive to provide an exceptional student learning experience. Trainer assessor roles are available in one or more of the following areas: WorkSafe Approved HSR Trainer, Height Safety, Confined Space and Gas Testing, Asbestos, First Aid, LVR/CPR, Emergency Response (including Confined Space Rescue, Tower Rescue and Breathing Apparatus) and many more. We are particularly interested in people who have a background with ASBESTOS.
Key responsibilities
- Train and assess students in designated subject areas
- Build rapport with students and provide support to assist them in succeeding in their course
- Maintain high standards of training and assessment
- Accurately complete all training and assessment documentation
- Maintain vocational competency and skills in accordance with Pinnacle Safety and Training policies and procedures
- Support students to succeed in their course whilst ensuring high standards are maintained
About you
- Hold the qualifications and/or units of competency in which you train and assess
- Have industry currency in the subject matter in which you will be training and assessing
- Hold TAE40116 or TAE40122 Cert IV in Training and Assessment
- Ability to build rapport with students and go that extra mile to assist them
- Work well in a team environment
- Able and willing to learn in a quick-paced environment with changing needs
- Good time management
- Be computer literate
