SA Distribution & Delivery Operations Manager

The SA Distribution & Delivery Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end oversight of Medimart's warehouse, distribution, and delivery operations across South Australia. This role ensures that stock flows efficiently from supplier to customer - managing incoming goods (including imports from China), overseeing warehouse operations, coordinating logistics, and leading the broader warehouse/delivery team. You act as the central point of coordination between suppliers, the warehouse, sales, and management, ensuring the business has full visibility and control over its supply chain and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

n

Set the direction and standards for how warehouse and distribution operations are run day to day, including receiving stock daily and supporting our 3 SA locations.

Ensure all orders are dispatched accurately, on time, and in line with customer and business requirements

n

Maintain a well-organised, accurate, and efficiently managed warehouse at all times

n

Identify and resolve operational issues before they elevate into business disruptions

n

Oversee the planning and execution of the warehouse staff, ensuring drivers and vehicles are resourced and ready

n

Serve as the direct manager for the Warehouse staff, Hire Equipment/Hire Equipment Cleaning team and Delivery team, providing clear direction, support, and performance accountability

Ensure all warehouse and delivery team members understand their responsibilities and are equipped to perform them

n

Conduct regular performance reviews and have direct, honest conversations when performance issues arise

n

Foster a team culture built on accountability, reliability, and continuous improvement

n

Ensure team members are trained in their duties including equipment set up and dismantling

n

About you

n

You have a can-do attitude, present professionally, communicate effectively, and have a strong commitment to professional development

n

You have a strong sense of team and will develop positive relationships with customers, drivers, warehouse personnel, and customer service representatives

n

National Police Check Clearance required

n

NDIS orientation module completed required

n

You must maintain up-to-date knowledge and work safely in all aspects of fire, emergencies, manual handling, infection control and hazard reporting

n

You must comply with all applicable legal requirements, statutory obligations, and organisational policies, procedures and requirements
