An exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer / Technical Sales professional to join an established industrial business in Mackay.

Combining technical pump sales, account management and business development, you’ll manage existing customers, develop new opportunities and provide practical pumping and fluid handling solutions.

What will you do?

- Manage and develop relationships with existing customers
- Proactively identify and win new business opportunities
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits and technical discussions
- Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate pump and fluid handling solutions
- Select pumps and associated equipment based on application requirements
- Prepare accurate quotations and proposals




- Follow up opportunities and manage an active sales pipeline
- Identify replacement, upgrade and additional equipment opportunities
- Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to order handover
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships
- Work towards agreed sales, margin and business development targets

What will you need?

- Experience within pumps, dewatering, water, fluid handling or related technical equipment
- Good technical understanding of pumps and their applications
- Solid sales, account management and business development capability
- Commercial experience preparing quotations and customer solutions
- Experience working with mining and industrial customers will be highly regarded
- Current Australian driver's licence

You may already be a Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Representative, Account Manager or Business Development Manager, or you may come from a strong technical pump background and be ready to take the next step into a more commercially focused role.
