Role Description The Salesperson / Merchandiser is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Adelaide Area. This role focuses on visiting retail outlets to promote Priority Health’s Premium Choice products, secure orders, and build long-term relationships with store owners and managers. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and maintaining product displays, ensuring optimal shelf placement, monitoring stock levels, and arranging timely replenishment.

The role also involves introducing current products, implementing promotional activities, gathering market feedback,



and providing basic sales and merchandising advice to support store performance. The Salesperson / Merchandiser will work closely with internal teams to report on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

Qualifications

- Sales and customer relationship skills, including experience in retail or FMCG sales and the ability to build and maintain professional rapport with store personnel.
- Merchandising and visual presentation skills, such as setting up product displays, managing shelf layouts, and ensuring brand visibility in-store.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to plan store visits, manage routes efficiently, and handle multiple accounts concurrently.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to present products and promotions confidently.
- Basic analytical and reporting abilities to monitor sales performance, track stock levels, and provide feedback on market and competitor activity.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport to visit stores across the Greater Adelaide Area.
- Previous experience in grocery, health food, or related retail environments is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated interest in health foods and better-for-you products, with a commitment to ethical, inclusive, and customer-focused service.
