A GREAT PLACE TO LEARN The Younity School is Moreton Bay's independent special assistance middle school, supporting students in Years 7 to 9 to reengage in education and rediscover their love of learning. Since opening in 2024, we've built a reputation for inclusive, inspiring and safe classrooms where students thrive. We're expanding, and we're looking for a School Administration Manager ready to own the day-to-day running of our school office.
ABOUT THE ROLE The School Administration Manager is central to the smooth and qualified operation of our school. You will oversee enrolment processes, maintain accurate student records, manage school communications, and provide a welcoming first point of contact for families, staff and visitors. Your contribution will ensure that every interaction and every process reflects the values of The Younity School.
You will also have responsibility across key operational functions, including staff resources and procurement, and will manage our relationships with ICT, cleaning and other contractors. With a key role in our small school, you will be hands-on across a wide variety of tasks, stepping in where required and working closely with staff, students and families as part of an integrated and supportive school community.
THIS ROLE WILL SUIT SOMEONE WHO
- Notices what needs to be done, takes ownership and follows things through without waiting for direction.
- Builds trust easily with staff, students, families and visitors, and communicates clearly both in person and in writing.
- Manages multiple priorities calmly, with efficiency and discretion under pressure.
- Picks up new systems and technology with confidence, and stays comfortable as tools evolve.
- Understands trauma-informed practice and the needs of neurodivergent young people and families, and takes compliance, confidentiality and record-keeping seriously.
We believe workplace diversity sparks innovation and creativity. The Younity School is a safe, accessible and inclusive workplace for people of all backgrounds. We encourage people from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds with relevant experience to apply.
HOW TO APPLY A full Candidate Pack and Position Description are available on our website. Please read this carefully and submit your resume and a short cover letter (max 2 pages), clearly addressing the role requirements.
