About the Role Join Suncorp’s Search Insights & Discoverability team and help shape how customers find and engage with our consumer insurance brands.

As a Search Specialist, you will support the performance and evolution of organic search by delivering research, analysis, technical expertise and actionable recommendations across SEO, GEO and emerging discovery environments.

You will identify customer demand, competitor activity, technical issues and optimisation opportunities to improve organic Share of Voice, visibility, qualified demand and website search performance. By analysing the wider search ecosystem, you will translate insights into explicit recommendations for Content, Product, Technology, Brand, Customer Experience and other key stakeholders.

Working closely with internal teams and agency partners, you will support audits, measurement, reporting, experimentation and search assurance for website and platform changes. You will also contribute organic search expertise to OneSearch and continually evolve your approach as customer behaviours, search platforms and technologies change.

What You'll Do

Deliver Search Insights and Recommendations

- Analyse customer demand, search behaviour, category trends, competitor performance and brand visibility across SEO, GEO and emerging discovery environments.
- Translate findings into clear, prioritised and actionable recommendations.

Support Organic Search Performance

- Conduct audits and identify content and technical optimisation opportunities.
- Improve organic Share of Voice, visibility, qualified demand and website search performance across Suncorp’s digital assets.





Provide Technical Search Expertise

- Define and validate SEO and GEO requirements for websites, releases, platform changes and migrations.
- Identify and escalate risks relating to crawlability, indexation, rendering and visibility.

Measure, Report and Test

- Monitor search performance and maintain accurate reporting.
- Design and execute structured experiments.
- Document results, recommendations and any data or attribution limitations.

Partner to Deliver Outcomes

- Collaborate with Content, Product, Technology, Brand, Customer Experience, Analytics and agency partners.
- Embed search recommendations and support delivery of agreed actions.
- Contribute search expertise across OneSearch and the broader search ecosystem.

About You You'll be a naturally curious and adaptable search professional who enjoys uncovering insights, solving problems and staying ahead of emerging search trends.

Skills and Experience

- 2-3 years' experience in SEO or a related discipline.
- Experience designing and conducting structured experiments across SEO, GEO and emerging discovery channels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to influence stakeholders through clear communication and evidence-based recommendations.
- Experience working in Agile environments and using Jira to manage workflows and priorities.
- Knowledge of GEO, AI-enabled search,



large language model discovery and evolving customer search behaviours.
- A passion for continuous learning and applying emerging technologies and search practices.

Desirable

- Tertiary qualification in an eCommerce-related discipline.
- Experience within insurance or financial services.
