RM Group is seeking multiple Electrical Trade Assistants to join the switchboard building team!

We're looking for Electrical trade assistants to assist with the assembly of electrical switchboards in a workshop environment.

This role is paying $40p/h + super + penalties, offering plenty of overtime, temporary to permanent positions.

The Role

- Assist electricians with switchboard assembly and wiring
- Cutting, drilling, fitting and mounting components
- Preparing materials, tools and equipment
- General workshop duties and maintaining a clean work area
- Following electrical drawings, instructions and safety procedures
- Opportunity to learn and develop your switchboard-building skills

Requirements for the role:
- Electrical trade assistant or workshop experience preferred
- Good attitude and robust work ethic
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Electrical background or pre-apprenticeship experience highly regarded
