Job Title: Senior Automation Test Engineer

Location: Perth

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Python, Robot Framework and Selenium for web applications and microservices.

- Develop and execute functional, integration, performance, reliability, scalability and load testing across complex technology platforms.

- Validate microservices, Docker-based applications and Linux environments, ensuring system quality and reliability.

- Perform testing and validation of robotics and field communication systems, including ROS/ROS2, CAN Bus and DDS protocols.

- Manage end-to-end STLC activities, defect tracking, test documentation and collaboration with development and engineering teams.

Skills &

Experience Required:





- 8+ years of dedicated Automation Testing experience and 12+ years of technology verification and validation experience.

- Expert-level Python scripting with solid analytical knowledge of C/C++, along with advanced Robot Framework and Selenium expertise.

- Strong understanding of Docker, microservices, Linux, ROS/ROS2, CAN Bus and DDS middleware.

- Proficiency with Git/GitLab, Jira and Confluence for source control, task management and technical documentation.

- Proven ability to build automation frameworks from scratch with minimal guidance, ideally within mining, autonomous haulage or safety-critical engineering environments.
