Database Administrator (SQL Server / Oracle) 12 Month Contract | Melbourne | Hybrid Working We're seeking an experienced Database Administrator (SQL Server or Oracle) to join a major security uplift and platform transformation program. Working across AWS and Azure environments, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure database access solutions while improving the reliability, security, and operational maturity of critical database platforms.

About You

- Demonstrated experience as a Database Administrator supporting Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle environments.
- Robust experience administering enterprise-scale database platforms.
- Experience working within AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of database security, authentication, access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible, or similar.
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.




- Experience supporting business-critical production environments.

Highly Desirable

- Experience across both SQL Server and Oracle database technologies.
- Experience delivering security uplift, cloud transformation, or platform modernisation initiatives.
- Knowledge of Entra ID integration and modern authentication solutions.
- Cloud certifications across AWS and/or Azure.
