Cossill & Webley is a market leading engineering consultancy, specialising in land development, infrastructure and industrial projects. We are actively recruiting a Senior Design Engineer to join our Melbourne team and take a senior position on some of our most exciting urban development projects.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Lead the design of urban development projects from concept through to construction.
- Competently masterplan large or complex sites, factoring in earthworks, drainage and sewer constraints, and provide strategic guidance and feedback.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant authority requirements and client specifications.
- Review and approve design documentation prepared by yourself and other designers.
- Mentor and provide technical support to graduate engineers, design engineers and designers.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting programme, budget and quality objectives.
- Contribute to the development of engineering standards, templates and workflows.

We are looking for someone who has:

- 7-15+ years of experience in civil engineering land development and design.
- A Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and current Victorian Professional Engineers Registration.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex urban developments - greenfield, medium density and/or industrial.
- Proficiency in 12D, AutoCAD and PC Convey.
- WD1, WD2, SD1 and SD2 accreditation.




- Proven experience in Victorian engineering standards and approval processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a genuine desire to mentor and develop junior staff.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects without compromising on quality.
