Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role involves leading interior design projects from concept through completion, including developing design narratives, space planning, and preparing detailed documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with clients and consultants, coordinating with architects and contractors, overseeing FF&E; selections, and ensuring design intent is delivered within budget and timelines.

Designer will mentor junior team members, contribute to design reviews,



and support project presentations and stakeholder workshops. This position requires strong communication, project leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, creatively driven environment.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with experience delivering projects across commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors.
- Proficiency in Architecture coordination and Construction Drawings, including detailed documentation suitable for consultants, contractors, and regulatory approvals.
- Expertise in FF&E; selection, specification, and scheduling, with a focus on quality, functionality, and aesthetics aligned to project concepts.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in leading projects and managing client relationships from briefing to handover.
- Competence with industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) or similar tools.
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in Australian building codes, standards, and approval processes is highly beneficial.
