Our client is a leading national law firm with a top-tier Restructuring & Insolvency practice, acting for insolvency practitioners, ASX-listed corporations, investment banks, private equity and funders on some of the market's most complex and high-profile matters.
This is an chance for an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to take a genuine hands-on role in high-calibre advisory and insolvency litigation work, working closely alongside partners rather than being one of many at a junior level.
Salary Range and Features of the role:
- $240K-$300K for a genuinely senior, high-calibre mandate

About the role:
This role sits within a top-tier Restructuring & Insolvency team, covering high-profile corporate insolvency, workouts, reconstructions and insolvency-related litigation for secured and unsecured creditors, liquidators, voluntary administrators and receivers, both in Australia and overseas.
- Play a key role on high-profile, complex advisory and corporate insolvency matters
- Handle insolvency-related litigation for insolvency practitioners, ASX-listed corporates, investment banks, private equity and funders
- Balance technical solutions with the commercial realities of each client's business
- Take genuine hands-on matter management alongside strategic input from Partners
- Train and mentor junior lawyers within the team
What you'll bring:
- 7+ years' experience in Restructuring & Insolvency within a private practice environment
- Current experience at a top-tier, national or international firm (essential for this mandate)
- Strong technical expertise paired with a commercial, client-focused approach
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, internally and with clients
- Comfortable working under pressure across multiple complex matters
- Genuine interest in mentoring and developing junior lawyers
