The Opportunity:
n
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and energetic Machinery Operators to facilitate our pasture operations.
n
You'll be hands‐on in the daily operation of loaders, trucks, telehandlers and other machinery. Experience operating chasers, seeders, sprayers and GPS‐guided agricultural equipment will be highly regarded.
n
You'll work a 50-hour week on a 5:2 roster.
n
These roles will suit self‐motivated people who are hands on and passionate about the agriculture industry. You will have a strong work ethic and be willing to learn and contribute to the team.

About Recent Norcia and Koojan Downs Farms:
n
New Norcia Farm is a premium 8,090 hectare farm fronting the Moore River,
135kms north of Perth and 45 kms east of Koojan Downs Feeding Facility.
n
The Koojan Downs aggregation is made up of Koojan Downs, Water Hill, Damper Downs, Avena Vale, Corner block, Willow Springs, Danmoor and Swarts farms. It comprises 10,472 hectares.
n
Please note: These are permanent positions, those on short term/working holiday visas will not be considered. You will need to have a current driver's licence and own transport.
n
Responsibilities include:
n
n
- Assisting with a variety of farming tasks, including planting, hay making, and maintaining pastures.
n
- Operating and basic maintenance of farming equipment and machinery e.g. tractors and associated planting and spraying equipment with care and efficiency.
n
- Carrying out work programs as devised with the Business Unit Manager - Farming.
n
- Chemical applications via boom, and hand spraying.
n
- Participating in ongoing training through toolbox talks to enhance your skills and knowledge.
n
- Carry out safe operation of farm machinery as part of seeding and feeding operations.
n
n
Ideal skillset:
n
n
- Current driver's licence (minimum HR preferred; HC or MC highly regarded).
n
- Previous experience operating farm machinery and equipment.
n
- Strong safety awareness and practical, hands‐on approach.
n
- Must have a current driver's licence and own transport.
n
- Agricultural knowledge and cattle handling experience is desirable.
n
- Constantly demonstrate commitment to safe working practices and animal welfare.
n
- Able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
n
- Motivated and hard‐working, willing to contribute to the Harvest Road team culture.
n
- Attention to detail.
n
