As an authorised partner of leading global manufacturers, i, we are expanding our engineering capability and are seeking a Product Engineer to support our rapidly growing High Voltage Surge Arrester portfolio.

n

This is an outstanding prospect for a recent Electrical Engineering graduate or an early‐career engineer looking to develop specialist expertise within the high voltage power industry.

n

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Projects, you will become the technical specialist for our High Voltage Surge Arrester product range covering applications from 11 kV to 500 kV.

n

This role combines engineering, technical support, estimating and product management, providing exposure to some of Australia's largest transmission, distribution and renewable energy projects.

n

You will work closely with customers, utilities, consultants, contractors and international manufacturing partners to deliver technically sound and commercially competitive solutions.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare technical quotations and commercial proposals.
n
- Select and specify surge arresters for projects from 11 kV to 500 kV.
n
- Review electrical drawings,



specifications and customer requirements.
n
- Provide technical support to customers and the sales team.
n
- Assist with major infrastructure tenders and project submissions.
n
- Liaise with international manufacturing partners.
n
- Maintain product pricing and technical documentation.
n
- Deliver product presentations and technical training.
n
- Support the continued growth of the High Voltage product portfolio.
n

About You

n

You are motivated, technically minded and enjoy solving engineering challenges.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- A degree in Electrical Engineering (or be nearing completion).
n
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
n
- High attention to detail.
n
- The ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
n
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
n

n

Previous experience with surge arresters is not essential. Comprehensive training and mentoring will be provided.
