Job Description

Our client is a leading aviation charter company looking for an experienced Procurement & Logistics Officer to join their Brisbane-based team. The role will support the stores and materials management functions, ensuring all procurement activities are carried out efficiently and in line with manufacturers' requirements and operational needs.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are available when required.
n
- Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate records and stock traceability.
n
- Source and purchase materials from local and international suppliers.
n
- Monitor local and international shipments and coordinate closely with freight forwarders and customs officials.
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
n




- Support vendor negotiations and contract management.
n
- Manage goods receiving and dispatch, including shipping and freight coordination.
n
- Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
n

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

n

n
- Degree in Business Management or Supply, Science, Industrial Engineering or similar discipline
n
- At least 5 years of experience in planning, buying, procurement, supply chain or logistics.
n
- Experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
n
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
n
- Robust written and verbal communication skills.
