Looking for steady local work without FIFO or DIDO?
ENAP is growing our Maintenance & Fabrication Team and we're looking for experienced Sheetmetal Tradespeople for both workshop-based and site-based positions.
Whether you prefer working from our Hemmant workshop or being out on industrial sites across South East Queensland, we have ongoing work available across fabrication, maintenance, shutdowns and brownfield projects.
Local work. Ongoing projects. No FIFO. No DIDO. No labour hire.
Workshop-based | Hemmant
If workshop fabrication is where you do your best work, you'll be part of our Hemmant fabrication team working on a range of industrial projects.
You'll be involved in:
- Fabricating, modifying and repairing guards, ducting, chutes and other sheetmetal components
- MIG and TIG welding
- Workshop fabrication, assembly and fitting
- Reading and working from fabrication drawings
- Repair and modification work
- Supporting ongoing fabrication and project requirements
Site-based | South East Queensland For those who prefer working on site, you'll be involved in installation, maintenance and repair work across local industrial facilities.
You'll be involved in:
- Installing fabricated sheetmetal components and equipment
- Maintenance, repair and modification work
- Shutdown and brownfield project work
- Working across operating industrial facilities
- Working alongside fitters, boilermakers, supervisors and project teams
- Supporting ongoing maintenance and project requirements

What we're looking for
- Cert III Engineering - Fabrication (Sheetmetal) or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in sheetmetal fabrication
- Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- White Card
- Reliable, safety-focused and quality-driven
- Ability to work independently and as part of a trade team
EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets are advantageous, but not essential. Why ENAP?
