Job OpportunityAustralian Community Villages is seeking a reliable, hands-on, and motivated Site Caretaker to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Bass Hill village community.

This is a diverse role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of operations management, maintenance, resident engagement, and practical hands-on work. You will play a key role in ensuring the village is safe, well maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently.

- This is an on-site position located in Bass Hill, Sydney.

About the Role

- Day-to-day operations of the village
- Overseeing onsite staff, contractors, and service providers
- Coordinating maintenance, repairs, gardening, and site presentation
- Supporting reception and front office operations
- Managing resident concerns and fostering a positive community environment
- Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements and the Residential (Land Lease) Communities Act




- Conducting regular inspections and maintaining site standards
- Assisting with administrative and operational reporting duties

About You

- Previous experience in site, property, accommodation, facilities, or village management
- Strong maintenance and gardening skills
- A hands-on and proactive approach to work
- Solid communication and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- A strong understanding of safety and compliance responsibilities
- A current NSW Driver Licence

Highly Regarded

- Trade, handyperson, or maintenance experience
- Experience in residential communities, accommodation, or hospitality operations
- First Aid Certificate
- Willingness to reside on-site
