The Opportunity

Are you a hands-on, solutions-driven Site Engineer ready to take your next step in civil and bulk construction industry? Wearn is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our dynamic team and support the successful delivery of our quarry and civil operations. You will be working closely with the Project Engineer and have a full team of support from the project team.

Your Role

As the Site Engineer, you’ll be responsible for coordinating on-site engineering functions across a range of quarry and civil projects, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of day-to-day site operations.
- Conduct site inspections, surveys, and measurements to ensure compliance with design, safety, and environmental standards.
- Liaise with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project timelines, costs, and quality.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, reports, and drawings.
- Promote and uphold WHS and environmental policies across all site activities.

Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (or similar).




- 2+ years’ experience in civil construction or quarry operations (preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and standards.
- Proficiency with CAD, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safety and quality on every job.
