Site Engineer – Civil / Bulk Earthworks

Moits is continuing to grow and we're looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our delivery team across a range of civil infrastructure projects throughout the Sydney metropolitan area.

This opportunity would suit someone currently working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 civil contractor who enjoys being on site, solving problems and working closely with project teams to deliver quality outcomes safely and efficiently.

About the Role

As a Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of our projects, working alongside Project Managers, Supervisors and Foremen to ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include

- Assisting with the planning and delivery of civil construction projects.
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
- Preparing work packs, ITPs, SWMS and project documentation.
- Monitoring project progress against programme and budgets.
- Managing quality assurance documentation and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Reviewing drawings and resolving on-site engineering issues.
- Coordinating surveys and ensuring accurate set out.
- Supporting procurement and material scheduling.
- Maintaining strong communication with clients,



consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Promoting and maintaining a robust safety culture across all projects.

What We're Looking For

- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer delivering civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience across bulk earthworks and general civil construction.
- Experience working with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 civil contractor would be highly regarded.
- Sound understanding of QA, safety and project delivery processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to be part of a collaborative team.
- Current Australian Driver's License.
