We are seeking a creative, digitally savvy Social Media Officer to join our Marketing and Communications team and help bring the Angliss brand to life across our social channels.

About the Role
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you'll play a key role in planning, creating and managing social media content that supports student recruitment, brand awareness and engagement objectives.
You will work across a variety of platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, collaborating with stakeholders across the Institute to source stories, create content and optimise campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging social media content including copy, photography, graphics and video
- Develop and maintain social media content calendars
- Schedule, publish and monitor content across multiple social platforms
- Manage community engagement, responding to enquiries, comments and messages in line with Institute guidelines
- Source and develop student, staff and industry stories for social campaigns
- Monitor and optimise organic social media performance using analytics and insights
- Assist with social media advertising campaigns and paid influencer initiatives
- Track, analyse and report on campaign performance, providing recommendations for improvement
- Monitor emerging social trends, competitor activity, platform updates and best practice
- Support the broader Marketing and Communications team with integrated campaigns and digital content projects
- Contribute to reputation management and provide advice on social media issues and escalations
About You You are a creative storyteller with strong organisational skills and a passion for social media and digital marketing.
You understand how different social platforms work and know how to create content that engages audiences and drives results.
Key Selection Criteria
- Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing social media channels for a brand or organisation.
- Experience developing, scheduling and monitoring social media content.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics, analytics and reporting.
- Proven experience creating content across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn using text, image and video formats.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Experience sourcing stories and interviewing stakeholders to create compelling content.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and Adobe Express.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Solid customer service, stakeholder engagement and teamwork capabilities.
- A commitment to values-based behaviours and professional conduct.
Desirable
- Experience developing and implementing influencer marketing campaigns.
- Experience within education, training, hospitality or related sectors.
