Blitzit Plan Manager is a growing Australian NDIS Plan Management provider supporting thousands of participants nationwide. We have an experienced internal team and are currently investing heavily in building and expanding our own technology platform.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing internal development team and work directly on the systems that power our business.

About the Role

This is a full-time Software Engineer position based in Windsor, NSW.

You’ll work alongside our existing developers to continue developing, improving and scaling Blitzit’s internal software platform, including our staff system, participant and provider portals, mobile applications, integrations and automated processing systems.

This is a hands-on development role where you’ll have the opportunity to work across existing systems as well as new features and projects. You’ll also work closely with our operations team, giving you direct insight into how the software is used and the problems we’re trying to solve.

What You’ll Be Working On

- Developing and maintaining web applications, APIs and backend services
- Building new features across our internal platform and external portals
- Working with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js and React
- Developing and maintaining systems hosted within AWS
- Working with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB and SQS
- Building and maintaining third-party integrations and APIs
- Improving system performance, reliability, security and scalability
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues




- Reviewing and improving existing code
- Working with other developers on architecture and technical decisions
- Helping automate business processes and reduce manual administrative work

- About You We’re looking for someone who:

- Has 5+ years of commercial software development experience
- Has strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience
- Has experience with Node.js and React
- Has experience developing and consuming REST APIs
- Is comfortable working with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure
- Understands databases, application architecture and scalable software development
- Can confidently work within an existing codebase
- Is comfortable troubleshooting and solving problems independently
- Communicates well and enjoys working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical team members

Experience with AWS serverless architecture, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, CI/CD, application security or high-volume transactional systems would be highly regarded.
