About the role

As a Registered Migration Agent with MYAC, you will work across a varied caseload, with a particular focus on employer-sponsored and skilled migration matters. You will handle genuine, commercially relevant migration matters while being supported by an established recruitment, administration and client services team.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting migration consultations and providing professional immigration advice
- Assessing clients' eligibility and recommending appropriate visa strategies
- Managing Subclass 482, 186, 494 and 407 matters
- Preparing and reviewing Standard Business Sponsorship, nomination and visa applications
- Advising employers regarding sponsorship requirements and migration pathways
- Managing skilled migration matters, including Subclass 189, 190 and 491 pathways
- Reviewing candidate qualifications, employment history and migration eligibility
- Preparing detailed submissions and supporting documentation
- Liaising with employers, candidates, the Department of Home Affairs and other relevant organisations
- Maintaining accurate client files, records and case notes

About you

- Current registration as an OMARA Registered Migration Agent




- Practical Australian migration-law experience
- Strong knowledge of employer-sponsored migration
- Experience preparing and lodging visa and nomination applications
- Confidence conducting client consultations and providing clear migration advice
- Strong written communication and submission-drafting skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Valuable judgement when assessing eligibility and identifying potential issues
- The ability to manage matters independently while also working as part of a broader team
- Strong organisational and file-management skills
