We're looking for an analytical and commercially minded Allocator to join our Retail Planning team. The Opportunity
As an Allocator, you'll play a critical role in managing inventory flow across our retail stores. Working closely with Planning, Merchandising, Retail Operations and Logistics teams, you'll use data and insights to make allocation decisions that support commercial outcomes and deliver exceptional stock availability.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their planning or merchandise career who wants to develop deep retail planning expertise within a high-performing and collaborative team.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll take ownership of inventory allocation activities and contribute to broader retail performance initiatives, including:
Inventory Allocation
You'll ensure stock is allocated effectively across the retail network based on sales performance, store capacity and customer demand.
- Allocate products to stores using sales and inventory insights
- Review stock levels and identify allocation opportunities
- Respond to changing sales trends and trading performance
- Support stock optimisation across the store network
Replenishment Management
You'll help maintain healthy inventory levels by monitoring replenishment performance and taking proactive action where needed.
- Manage and maintain replenishment processes
- Identify and resolve stock shortages and overstock risks
- Support timely replenishment of key and promotional product lines
- Optimise inventory availability across stores
Product Launch & Seasonal Support
You'll play an key role in launching new products and supporting key trading periods.
- Execute allocations for new product launches and campaigns
- Support seasonal events and promotional activity
- Analyse allocation effectiveness and identify learnings
- Contribute to process and system improvements
Stakeholder Collaboration
Success in this role comes from building strong relationships across the business.
- Partner closely with Planning, Merchandising and Retail teams
- Liaise with stores regarding inventory needs and performance
- Work with Logistics teams to resolve supply and delivery issues
- Support cross-functional business initiatives
Reporting & Analysis
You'll leverage data to uncover trends, monitor performance and inform future decisions.
- Analyse sales and inventory performance
- Track key allocation and stock-health metrics
- Produce regular reporting and insights
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and stock efficiency
Your talent

You'll be measured on your ability to drive strong inventory outcomes, including:
- Sales and sell-through performance
- Gross margin achievement
- Replenishment completion rates
- Stock turn and inventory health
- Allocation accuracy and efficiency
About You
We're looking for someone who combines analytical capability with strong commercial awareness and a genuine passion for retail.
You'll bring:
- 1-2 years' experience in Allocation, Merchandise Planning, Inventory Management or a related retail function
- Experience working within a fast-paced, multi-site retail environment
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and data analysis
- Exposure to allocation, planning or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDA or similar
- Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
- A proactive,
organised and solutions-focused approach
Experience within fashion, sportswear, footwear, lifestyle or consumer goods retail will be highly regarded.
