Demand Civil is seeking experienced, reliable and safety-focused civil construction professionals to join our growing team. Full-time employment or contract engagement may be offered depending on the successful candidate's experience, qualifications and suitability.

Site Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor who can independently coordinate site operations, manage multiple work activities and operate civil construction plant when required.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and supervise daily civil construction activities

- Manage employees, subcontractors, plant, materials and site resources

- Monitor productivity against project programs and budgets

- Prepare daily reports, progress updates and accurate site records

- Manage pre-starts, SWMS compliance, safety inspections and corrective actions

- Coordinate quality documentation, ITPs, hold points and testing

- Manage site procurement and ensure resources are available when required

- Identify and report project risks, delays and cost impacts

- Liaise professionally with clients, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers

- Operate civil construction plant and equipment when required

About you

- Minimum three years' experience as a Civil Site Supervisor or in a comparable leadership role

- Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in Civil Construction, Construction Management or a relevant discipline

- Experience across earthworks, drainage, roadworks, pavements and associated civil works

- Demonstrated multi-skilled plant operating experience

- Strong knowledge of safety, quality and environmental compliance

- Strong program, productivity and budget-management capability





- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision

- Competence in electronic progress reporting and site documentation

- Relevant licences, plant tickets and VOCs

Skilled Civil Construction Labourer / Plant Operator

We are also seeking an experienced civil construction labourer who can support general site activities and competently operate plant and equipment when required.

Key responsibilities

- Perform general civil construction and skilled labouring duties

- Assist with earthworks, stormwater drainage, roadworks and pavement construction

- Support pipe laying, pit construction, trenching, backfilling and compaction activities

- Operate rollers, skid-steer/posi-track loaders and other authorised plant

- Undertake daily plant pre-starts and report defects promptly

- Follow construction drawings, levels and supervisor instructions

- Maintain secure and orderly work areas

- Comply with SWMS, safety procedures and environmental controls

- Assist the site team in achieving daily productivity and program targets

About you

- Demonstrated civil construction experience

- Roller ticket with proven operating experience

- Skid-steer/posi-track ticket with proven operating experience

- Construction Industry White Card

- Relevant plant tickets and current VOCs

- Ability to perform physical construction duties safely

- Strong understanding of site safety requirements

- Reliable, punctual and capable of working effectively within a team

- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work efficiently

- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
