About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant Children’s Services /Business Partner to join 3Bridges during an important period of finance transformation and transition.

In this senior business partnering role, you will work closely with Children’s Services leadership and operational teams to support the 16 centres where we operate before and after school programs for the local community.

You will take ownership of key Children's Services finance processes, including revenue, CCS and Inclusion Support Subsidy (ISS), month-end accounting, financial analysis, reconciliations and debtor management.

This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact within a purpose-driven organisation, partnering with senior stakeholders while contributing to the ongoing development of our finance function. You will work closely with the wider Finance team and play an important role in ensuring continuity, process improvement and knowledge transfer throughout the transition.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee key Children's Services revenue and billing processes, including OWNA, CCS payments and Inclusion Support Subsidy (ISS).

· Lead any questions from parents or centres on billing disputes or errors,



to ensure quick turnaround and resolution of issues.

· Monitor financial performance, revenue, costs, margins and debtor performance, identifying risks, variances and opportunities for improvement.

· Lead and/or review month-end accounting processes, journals, accruals, prepayments, expenses.

· Review financial transactions and investigate variances, unusual transactions and emerging financial issues.

· Work collaboratively with AR, AP, Payroll and the wider Finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

· Develop and maintain finance procedures and documentation and support effective knowledge transfer throughout the transition.

About You

· 3–5 years’ experience as a Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner or similar, ideally within a not-for-profit, community services, aged care or children’s services environment.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.

· CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification is preferred.

· Strong understanding of month-end accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations.

· Experience with revenue, debtor/AR management and CCS/ISS or similar funding environments.

· Strong working knowledge of Business Central (D365),



OWNA and Excel/reporting tools, with the ability to quickly understand and navigate financial systems.

· Demonstrated ability to build robust relationships and confidently partner with senior operational stakeholders.

· Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear recommendations.

· Ability to work independently, take initiative and deliver results with minimal handover.

· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.

· Current NSW Working with Children Check.
