Our client supplies gas cylinders, welding equipment and industrial products to businesses and the general public. With a strong focus on safety, customer service and employee development, they are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operator / Trades Counter Person to join their Gladstone team.

About the role:

- 50/50 warehouse duties and trades counter
- Assist customers with product enquiries in person and over the phone
- Process sales, invoices and general administration
- Operate forklifts and load/unload deliveries
- Complete stocktakes and maintain organised storage areas




- Prepare gas cylinders for delivery and assist with customer collections
- Handle cylinders weighing up to 20kg and identify/report faulty bottles

About you:

- Current LF ticket
- Previous warehouse or yard experience
- Strong customer-service skills and confidence discussing products
- Comfortable using computers for invoicing and administration
- Safely complete repetitive manual handling
- Friendly, positive attitude and work well independently and within a team
- Willing to complete a pre-employment medical and police check
- Previous gas-product knowledge is advantageous but not essential
