Auto Masters Gympie is expanding and we’re looking for a highly experienced Automotive Mechanic with exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the challenge of tracking down complex faults and has a ‘fix it right the first time’ attitude. If you're the mechanic other technicians come to when they’re stuck and you enjoy taking ownership of the major repairs - we want to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For:

- Extensive experience as an automotive mechanic
- Outstanding diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems (mechanical and electrical)
- Someone confident taking responsibility for major mechanical repairs and complex jobs
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- An overall ‘Can Do’ attitude

Your Responsibilities:

- Diagnose complex vehicle issues efficiently and accurately




- Take the lead on larger repairs and challenging mechanical work
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and scan equipment to identify faults
- Ensure all work is completed to a high skilled standard
