About the role

The Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, growth, and promotion of Innovation Hub Coffs Coast. The role supports a thriving innovation ecosystem by fostering connections between entrepreneurs, businesses, students, industry, and education partners. The Coordinator delivers exceptional customer service, maintains a professional and welcoming environment, drives occupancy and community engagement, and supports the Board in achieving the Hub's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate the daily operation of the Innovation Hub, ensuring facilities are safe, accessible, and professionally maintained.

- Manage tenancy agreements, coworking memberships and room bookings.

- Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance activities.

- Maintain inventories of consumables and equipment.

- Participate in emergency management and workplace health and safety activities.

- Function as the primary point of contact for tenants, coworkers, visitors, and prospective members.

- Foster collaboration, networking, and community engagement opportunities.

- Build and maintain productive relationships with businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, and industry partners.

- Identify opportunities to expand membership, partnerships, and utilisation of the Hub.

- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote the Innovation Hub.

About you

- A valid Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).

- Relevant qualification in business, management, community development, marketing, events, property/facilities management or a related discipline,



or equivalent experience.

- Demonstrated experience in business management and operations and knowledge of relevant legislative requirements.

- Experience managing stakeholder relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.

- Experience in financial administration, budgeting and reporting.

- Highly developed organisational and project management skills and the ability to work within compliance of health, safety and governance requirements.

- Advanced stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

- Ability to work autonomously while effectively managing competing priorities.

- Strong digital literacy, including experience with CRM, finance, and collaboration platforms.

- Well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills.

The Innovation Hub Coffs Coast is located at the Coffs Harbour Education Campus and is in partnership with the City of Coffs Harbour, Southern Cross University, and TAFE NSW. The Innovation Hub Coffs Coast aims to provide entrepreneurs, professionals, and start-ups alike, with a facility to grow their business. We aim to offer a dynamic and supportive setting acting as a conduit for students, local businesses, and industry to connect. The facilities available include co-working and private office spaces, boardroom and breakout rooms, kitchen and amenities, and opportunities to network and collaborate with internal stakeholders and the alumni network.
