Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking a motivated 1st Year Spare Parts Interpreter Apprentice to join one of our host employers in Port Melbourne, VIC.

This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career within a major automotive dealership environment, working alongside experienced parts and service professionals while completing your AUR31020 Certificate III in Automotive Sales.

You'll develop valuable knowledge of vehicle parts, components and systems while learning how a professional dealership parts department operates.

No previous automotive experience is required. If you have a genuine interest in cars, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Spare Parts Interpreter Apprentice, you'll learn how to:

- Identify and source the correct automotive parts and components.

- Use electronic parts catalogues and dealership systems.

- Interpret vehicle information to determine the correct parts.

- Assist workshop technicians with parts enquiries and requirements.

- Respond to retail and trade customer enquiries.

- Process parts orders and customer requests.

- Pick, pack and prepare parts for the workshop, collection or dispatch.

- Receive, check and organise incoming stock.

- Assist with stock control and inventory management.

- Maintain organised parts and storage areas.

- Develop your knowledge of different vehicle components and systems.

- Learn automotive terminology and manufacturer-specific product information.

- Support the day-to-day operation of a busy dealership parts department.

About You

We're looking for someone who is genuinely interested in cars and wants to build their automotive knowledge.

No experience? No problem. Previous automotive experience or a Certificate II is not required. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, reliability and genuine motivation to build a career in the automotive industry.
