The Role
This is a broad HR generalist leadership role, overseeing the full employee lifecycle while partnering closely with stakeholders across multiple regions. You’ll join a fast-paced and growing business where adaptability, initiative and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships will be key to your success.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:

- Partner with senior leaders and managers to provide HR advice and support
- Lead and mentor a small HR team, including HR and Payroll functions
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and offboarding
- Drive performance management, succession planning, and retention strategies
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation and internal policies
- Oversee payroll processes (with support from a Payroll Officer) and act as a key liaison between shared services on a global level

This role operates within a growing regional structure, requiring collaboration across the Australian, Indonesian and PNG teams.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a strong HR generalist who thrives in operational environments and enjoys being hands-on.
You will bring:

- Proven experience in a senior HR generalist or HR Manager role




- Strong end-to-end HR lifecycle experience across operational environments)
- Background in industries such as mining, blasting, manufacturing or similar (highly regarded)
- Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation (Fair Work Act, Awards, etc.)
- Experience working in complex or matrix organisations
- Ability to influence, coach and partner with stakeholders at all levels
- Exposure to payroll processes and oversight
- Strong problem-solving and solution-driven mindset

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to operate across multiple regions and time zones
- A proactive approach with the confidence to suggest and implement improvements
