About the role

Johnson and Finney Group is seeking an experienced Donut King Store Manager to lead operations at our Caloundra QLD 4551 location. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to manage a vibrant retail food service establishment and drive business success through strategic leadership, team management, and customer engagement. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining the high standards that define the Donut King brand in one of Queensland's most desirable coastal communities.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and cash handling

- Lead, recruit, train and manage a diverse team of staff, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health and hygiene standards, and company policies

- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock ordering, and optimize supply chain efficiency

- Maintain quality control across all products and services delivered to customers

- Drive sales performance and profitability through effective merchandising, promotional activities, and customer service excellence

- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance brand loyalty and repeat business

- Implement and maintain health, safety and security protocols throughout the store

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in retail or food service management, ideally within a quick-service restaurant or similar hospitality environment

- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong people management and coaching skills

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing competing priorities in a quick-paced environment





- Outstanding customer service orientation and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences

- Knowledge of food safety, health and hygiene regulations, and workplace safety compliance

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with staff, customers, and stakeholders

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions independently and collaboratively

- Experience with point-of-sale systems and retail management software is advantageous

- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
